Best known for the LTA jingle Love Your Ride, NDP 2005 theme song Reach Out for the Skies and 2013 One
Singapore, this popular theatre composer-arranger-director has garnered songwriting awards in her teens, wrote
and directed her 1st full length musical score at 18, toured south of New Zealand, received the Wong Yee Hua
Memorial Music Excellence Award, music directed NDP 2013 & 2005 and together with Selena Tan, was nominated
in 2011’s Life Theatre Awards for Cinderellah! In 2015 Life Theatre Awards for Monkey Goes West! In 2017, She has
also been honoured to receive the 22nd COMPASS Artistic Excellence Award.
Her prolific portfolio encompass musical direction, original writing & arrangements for all Dream Academy
Productions’ of Dim Sum Dollies, SingDollar, Hossan Leong & Broadway Beng Shows, Crazy Christmas Shows, Wild

Her corporate-musical theatre collaborations include working with the talented staff of SIA’s Performing Arts Circle

DP50 the Musical” 2017; Mediacorp LOVE 972FM’s 2 Birthday Musicals LiangShanBo & Juliet in 2017 & HERO 来咯
in 2018; Diva to the Death - a dinner theatre performance-collaboration with Bite Me Productions at the Monti
Restaurant in 2018.
Her varied engagements include theatrical and commercial productions, CD projects, recordings, charity concerts,
as well as orchestrations for the 2015 SG50’s Youth Celebrate! Celebrations, 2015 charity concert with Chinese
singing legends Fang Qiong and Chang Shi Lei, the 2013 National Day Parade, 2010 Singapore Youth Festival
Opening Ceremony, vocal arrangements and direction for the 2010 YOG Opening Ceremony, music consultant to
MediaCorp’s Don’t Forget To Remember in 2016. She has also guest-judged vocal competitions such as MediaCorp
Channel 8’s Golden Years Talentime; SIA’s Talentimes, ShowChoir competition at RWS.
Last year, in light of COVID, her digital forays included:
in May – a collaborative effort amongst artistes to put out COVIDA, a local parody of Singaporeans in Covid times;
in July - a commission by the Singapore International Festival of Arts to arrange One People, One Nation, One
Singapore for the Singapore Symphony Orchestra to launch their SSO-at-home video;
in August – a commissioned collaborative digital-video arrangement from the Singapore Armed Forces Band to
arrange Reach Out For the Skies – One Singapore, featuring SAF talents;
in August – a Toy Factory digital recording production featuring Mandarin & Hokkien songs from the Old Redhill
Market.
in October – rehearsed for the digital online Rice Ball 2020;
in November – started writing original music and lyrics for a children’s show that may be featured in 2021’s
children’s festival Imaginate, organized by Singapore Street Festival; music directed & filmed for the 2020 Online
AWARE Ball;
in December – music directing Dream Academy Productions of A Crazy Christmas at the Esplanade Theatre; filmed
a SingTheatre charity video for Numama Choir; filmed & was interviewed as a composer for Fill The Vamp’s NAC
video project.
